Pony pals Adventure

This experience focuses on children ages 7-11 that are too young for our Trail Rides but would like some time with horses. This experience essentially mimics our full Trail Ride journey, however with a shorter window of time and focuses on getting kids comfortable with their pony.

The kids will learn how to brush, mount up, the basics of riding - then be lead around one of our fields with a Trail Guide helping to build that comfort of a new skill. Following the ride, children will then give their pony some treats and some nice big pats. Photos of the experience will be taken throughout by the Trail Guide and supplied to the family afterwards.

Pony Pals Adventure is $50 + HST for one child, and each additional child is $25 + HST. To book this experience, parents will need to contact us directly either by email trailrides@glenoro.com or call 705-327-9520

Pony Paparazzi

We like to call this one “the snap and snuggle” and its ideal for guests of all ages that want to get some quality time with a horse, but don’t necessarily want to get up into the saddle and head out for a ride.

For this experience we focus on some basic horsemanship on the ground, learn to groom, and generally connect with their horse. We will be getting to feed some treats, graze the horses on the grass, and take the horse out for a walk. So much of the bond between humans and horses actually takes place on the ground, so this is a great foundation for a meaningful connection.
